This Saturday is already the 3rd of July--where did the time go? Our Market keeps getting bigger and better, and now that the seasonal produce is really starting to come in, from here on until the end of the season our selection will be getting bigger and better each week! This Saturday the Market will be up EXTRA early, thanks to the Show Low Historical Society's annual Biscuits and Gravy breakfast! This is their big annual fundraiser, so be sure to come out and support them right at the heart of the Festival Marketplace from 7am to 9am. The 4th of July parade begins right after, and the Market will be smack-dab in the thick of things. As soon as the parade is over, our entertainment begins, so be sure to stick around and check out our great variety of vendors after the parade!

New potential vendors, take note--we're booking up fast for this holiday extravaganza, so be sure to request and return your completed application no later than Tuesday, June 29th so we can get you on our special event permit!

Both the Market AND our music! Join us tomorrow from 9am to 1pm for a great variety of vendors and their locally grown and produced plants, food items, arts and crafts--we've got new talent signing up every day. Our live entertainment begins at 10am with the smooth jazz of Jim Beck, and then continues from 12 to 1pm with the solo guitar sounds of Ryan David Orr--both back by popular demand! We're also gearing up for a truly MASSIVE Memorial Day Weekend with even MORE vendors, food, entertainment, surprises and a whole lot of fun, so be sure to visit every Saturday!

Wow--today was amazing! So many great vendors, 3 great entertainers, and a steady flow of people all day! We opened up at 9am with "Country Aces"--a new local country and bluegrass band. After our Show Low Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting, Jim Beck brought his perfect-market-vibe "smooth jazz" to the shopping crowd, and then Ryan David Orr took over for the last two hours of the day with a great guitar-based solo sound. Our  plant, produce and food vendors did brisk business, some raking in a respectable $500 in 4 hours! Our crafters and artists were certainly not left out in the cold--all reported sales in the good to great range. Next week is looking to be just as fun! Join us for more food, more vendors, more entertainment and another great day at the Market. One down, 22 to go--pictures coming soon!

It's hard to believe, but the Farmers' Market & Art Walk begins TOMORROW! We'll see you Saturday for plants and produce, food, arts, and crafts--all LOCALLY handmade or homegrown. There will be live entertainment, a ribbon cutting and more, so come on down to the Festival Marketplace (where the sculpture of the card players is!) in downtown Show Low and join us for a great time! And be sure to stop be every week--there's always something new and exciting at the Market. See you there!

Torreon has chosen local grower Jeremy Edwards as the winner of their Sponsored Booth!
Sonoran Lifestyle Realtor for Torreon (and Show Low Main Street Farmers' Market & Art Walk fan) Candi Williams and Torreon Clubhouse Chef Eduardo Mata are also looking forward to the fresh, locally grown produce Jeremy, his wife Terri and other local growers will be producing for the Market.

Jeremy grew up on a farm and is a wealth of information on growing plants and produce in the White Mountains. He and wife Terri will be offering a wide variety of produce and even plant starts early in the season, so be sure to stop by booth number N10 to get your own garden growing! Torreon will also occasionally be offering samples of Chef Eduardo's delicious food at Jeremy's booth--often made with Market produce to give shoppers a taste of the best of the season's bounty and showcase the intense flavors possible with the freshest local ingredients!  Jeremy thanked Torreon for choosing him as their sponsored booth contest winner, and is looking forward to a busy season at the Market.
